CULTURAL-LINGUISTIC RELATIVISM AS THE FOUNDATION OF PEACE EDUCATION

This paper presents the results of a theoretic-pedagogical research, which objective was to analyze peace education from complex thinking and cultural-linguistic relativism approach through documentary-bibliographic study. Authors found, that must be considered as epistemological basis education. Its main postulate regarding equitable articulation different without hegemonic center (or universality point); recognition difference fairness differences; admission valid any practice by mere fact being production social group, modulates pedagogical actions aimed at development student´s logical pluralism interculturality, consequently, culture. Since is achieved encounter diverse visions social, economic, political cultural practices, indispensable condition for this process occur interculturality. The intones correct understanding each other interpreting manifestations according their own criteria, trying understand symbolic complexity moderate an inevitable ethnocentrism leads practices others interpreter´s culture criteria; helps achieve internal external peace: participation, dialogue cooperation, changing patterns behavior in conflicts; supports respect life dignity person, discrimination or prejudice; effective equality rights obligations (ethnic, class, regional, gender, sexual, etc.); it allows acquisition unusual ways acting, making decisions (logical pluralism).
